God took care of my #Day17

I just sat down at the computer and was about to type that I don't have it in me to pull out a #day17, when I looked up and saw this....

and then this....

and then I thought about the ones on my front porch ...

and at 11:40 at night, I realized that I found....

November 17th, my 17 things:

(and I have no doubt in my mind that this was more than a coincidence.
Exactly 17!
come on.)

...and it just so happens to be the same day we put up this....

(don't hate! ...and for all the disgruntled "you have to wait until after Thanksgiving for that kind of festiveness" people, you should know that I have also been playing Christmas music for weeks!)

#Theminimalistproject  for #noClutterNovember was brought to you by those little guys who were purchased from the front yard of some stranger at 6/$1 for Sadie's first birthday...but it's time to make way for Jesus' birthday prep (...the twinkling lights make Sadie more than willing to kiss those birthday cake memories to the wayside).

So with snow on the ground,
plans to be elsewhere for the actual Thanksgiving holiday,
Sadie's pumpkin party behind us,
and my track record of keeping decorations up long past their intended purpose
...it's time to pass the pumpkins (& 1 gord) onto someone who is not quite ready to move into the Christmas Season just yet.

"Goodbye, sweet little fall reminders. I enjoyed you for a season (literally), but I can't hold on to you forever. So I'm practicing letting go, with an early send-off."
